Motherly Angel - December 31st, 2007

Phew! Finally done! This is my 100th Photoshop artwork!! It had to be so very special that I had to draw Mariko and her two twin girls, Rachel and Susie! Rachel and Susie are my most, most dearest characters of them all, along with Betsy Mariko. Rachel and Susie aren't exactly Mariko's daughters, but more like her "clones", though Mariko treats them as her children (and they're both around 5 years old). How motherly is that! Sigh, I finally drew my twins after many years of not. Dang. Anyway, as you can see, this is my best work! However, the background isn't so good. Oh, and speaking of the background, it's pretty symbolic, though only to me. It's based from the Angelic Goddesses 2 game I'm making. Mariko hates her outfit but has no choice but to use it because it's made for fighting (made by a weird lady who makes special outfits). The planet behind is Shihoko's world, and the big sphere... oops, I won't give more details.
I am proud of this artwork! Look at the hair...and the shadows! The colored lineart! It took me from September 21st to October 27th drawing, and then from October 29th to December 31st coloring! It really took me that long!! Probably well over 40 hours, at least--with 21 folders and 181 layers...wow...
